To mark the bicentenary of the death of renowned sculptor from Veneto, Antonio Canova, the Civic Museums of Padua hosted a series of Canovian Days as part of the activities planned by the National Committee for the Celebrations of the Bicentenary of Antonio Canova's death. One of these events was a Study Day, which focused on assessing current knowledge on Canova's life and work, particularly in relation to the city of Padua.
